Hey Ian, since no one has commented on your Topical post... I thought I'd hijack it to say thank you for your recent reviews of my poems. I respect your work, and your opinion means a lot to me.
yeah, ain't that about a bitch? that goof just bought the pentagon another pound of conical fastening devices; meanwhile, i feel like i'm getting stupider.
i bet johnny "blubbering-baby" boehner gets verklempt when he thinks about cowboys on the range.
you'd think that for as often as they're used for symbols of the american spirit, the cowboys would get a little slack; i mean, they ain't injuns... speaking of, we could probably save a lot of money by just cutting our spending on reservations, send all those kids to real schools, so they can be real americans like the rest of us. time to quit being welfare chiefs, redman... i think i just came up with a new slogan for sarah "see you next tuesday" palin.
thank you for reading, pearl, and for the blogroll add! i wonder why it's not letting you follow. i'll send a message to blogger, see what's up.

That's really too bad. I have a lot of respect for the cowboy poets.
And I do admire your poetry, Ian, and have tried to become a follower but it's not loading properly.
So I've added you to my blogroll. Big fan over here!
